Walnut Shell Filters
Nutshell media is resilient, utilizing a high flux rate to remove both oil and oil-wet solids. With a deep media bed channeling is eliminated. Backwashing the media easily removes oil and solids from the vessel functions automatically via skid PLC or facility DCS. Flow rates of up to 50,000 BWPD per vessel are easily handled.
